Can you answer the question?

What do you think your top 3 favorite games are?

Okay, how about your 12th favorite game?

There’s a way to find out.

GameFAQs is currently taking votes for the “Best. Game. Ever.” This is the 20th anniversary for GameFAQs, and voting has been narrowed down to a bracket of 128 games. Since November 5, users have been able to visit the voting site and trickle down the results each day until a final victor is crowned.

In 2004, the vote went to Final Fantasy VII and in 2009 to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. While this year’s results are yet to be seen, a tumblr page has been created to allow you to see what your favorite game of all time is, along with another 127 choices.

Using GameFAQs’ list of 128 games, the voting puts two choices against one another and asks you to choose one, the other, or a middle option stating your indifference toward both choices.

At first, the sorting is quite easy and I was able to swiftly move through the list making my choices. However, as time went on it became much more difficult.

Running through the voting system and narrowing down the results took me the better part of an hour to complete, but I was really impressed with my results and how accurate it turned out.

Of course, there are a lot of games that I love that don’t appear on this list at all, but as a fun exercise this turned out nicely.

Here are my top 50 games according to the votes I cast.

I really loved how much anxiety this cause not only myself, but friends as well:
