As we expected from Sunday night’s brief tease, Telltale has revealed a new trailer for Season Two that confirms Clementine as the star of their upcoming second season, and that she will actually be a playable character for the season.

Season Two: Episode One will be released “before Christmas” on PC/Mac, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and iOS “with additional platforms to be announced,” with each proceeding episode in the five-part series to be released every 4-6 weeks.

According to Telltale, season two “will continue the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned at the outset of the undead apocalypse, now left to her own devices to seek safety and survive in a world gone mad. Now assuming the role of an ordinary child, players will struggle to outwit both the dead and the living in situations that will test their morals and control the flow of the story through their decisions and actions.”

More information is expected to come in the next month but Telltale also announced a collectors edition of Season One. “The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series – Game of the Year Edition will include all five episodes of the award-winning series, the DLC episode ’400 Days’, and access to the series’ original score and exclusive behind the scenes video. You can preorder it right now at retailers in North America for $29.99.”

If you’ve played Season One, try to watch the trailer and not tear up. I did. Let us know what you think about playing as Clementine below.
